Vain's diary has a total of 3 books (159 fiercely scribbled pages).

The major part of it is written in Slovenian and English, the rest are brief sections in Italian and Portuguese. It is not a regular diary. It is a random collection of notes, thoughts, prose, lyrics, aphorisms and occasional reflections, marked with a date. Due to Vain's peculiar handwriting,
we were unable to decipher certain parts of the text.
We were also unable to reproduce certain parts of the diary due to
Marjeta Smolnik's explicit request.

The sections in Italian and Portuguese are being translated at present and will be added to the following page in a short while.
