The cover version of a classic song written by Oliver Mandic, a highly controversial figure of the Yugoslav music scene in the 80's. Mandic, whose struggle with mental illness and provocative lyrics filled the local media at the time, remains an outstanding songwriter whose work inspired an entire generation (Vain included). Vain's cover version can be therefore understood as a tribute to a unique artist and an attempt to revive the memory of a song that undoubtedly deserves a permanent stay in the pantheon of all-time classics.
